JOHN GARDNER | commercial lines

John joined the agency as a partner in 2004. He believed that C & G was on its way to becoming a premier agency in the Chicago land area. John's belief of maintaining an outstanding relationship with both his clients, and the markets he represented, matched perfectly with the foundation of which Connor and Gallagher was built.

John manages many of the relationships with the carriers that we represent. His goal is to help us maintain a strong relationship throughout all levels of the companies we work with. From underwriting and claims, to upper management, maintaining a strong relationship with these markets allows for continuous growth in an ever changing marketplace.

With over 17 years of commercial insurance experience he is responsible for new business development and providing excellent service and risk management to his existing clients. His focus is primarily in the construction and manufacturing industries.

John is a 1990 graduate of Xavier University . He lives in Lemont with his wife and 4 children.

Account Managers

John's account management team is headed by Angie Watson, Senior Account Manager. Angie brings over 20 years Property/Casualty experience to lead the team that does placement and management to Tom's clients. She is assisted by Debbie Matas, Account Manager and Suzanna Vanek, Customer Service Representative.
