Tom founded the agency with Dan Gallagher in 1997. They felt there was a great opportunity to bring their large brokerage experience to middle market companies. Their vision was to build a company that could better service the middle market that was, in large part, being ignored by larger brokers and not properly represented by many smaller, less capable brokers. This philosophy has been the basis for the growth and success of the agency.

Tom also works very closely with many of our carriers in order to maintain and promote our strong relationships. These strong relationships are what allow us to grow and maintain our accounts in an efficient and competitive manner. He continually challenges our markets and staff to provide our clients with the broadest and most competitive risk management programs available.

With over 25 years of Commercial Insurance experience, he is responsible for new business development and service to his existing client base as well as alternative market placement. In addition, Tom is responsible for the day-to-day administration and technology within the agency. Connor & Gallagher's advanced technology keeps them at the forefront of the industry. He sits on the Agents Advisory Council of several of the insurance companies Connor & Gallagher represents.

Tom is a 1980 Graduate of Illinois State University. He resides with his wife and son in Bartlett, IL.

Account Managers

Tom's account management team is headed by Angie Watson, Senior Account Manager. Angie brings over 20 years Property/Casualty experience to lead the team that does placement and management to Tom's clients. She is assisted by Debbie Matas, Account Manager and Suzanna Vanek, Customer Service Representative.
